All About Passwords

3/21/2022

I can hardly believe that the time has come to premiere PopCykol’s online school and our first e-learning curriculum. Just over a year ago, February 25, 2021, I had this idea for PopCykol. The idea has sprung forth and blossomed into this incredibly fun, lively company that is literally bursting with creativity. This is what I want to do, like, forever. With that said, I’m all in! Are you?

First, welcome to our online cyber security school, called PopCykool, pronounced “Pop-school”. This is where you can visit to learn about Passwords and so much more. There are plenty of free resources for you to learn more about cyber security, like new words and terms you may be unfamiliar with and helpful “PopCykol Tips”. Our PopCykol Tips are one-page documents that provide useful information about varying cyber security awareness topics. They can easily be read and shared.

Then, ta-dah! Our curriculum, ALL ABOUT PASSWORDS is available. Sign up with a new account for yourself and your child and watch our video about password creation and strength. This video walks you through the basics of passwords answering the 5 W’s. What is password? When do you need a password? Where do you use a password? Why do you need a password? Who uses a password? And, last, but not least, how do you create a strong password and how do you store your passwords?

I’ve opened up PopCykool to our PopCykol followers first. In addition, we have a special rate for our amazing partner, A Precious Child, a Colorado non-profit. If you’re a client of A Precious Child, contact them to receive the special discount code from the Precious Mentor Manager to verify your participation. The discount code is good for 90 days.

Otherwise, ALL ABOUT PASSWORDS goes live to the general public on April 1, 2022. Woohoo! Visit our PopCykool site and share with friends and family. Go to www.popcykool.com to enroll now.

If you like what we’re doing to protect kids online, please consider funding PopCykol with a financial contribution. When you give, you directly support the content we are creating whether it’s the development of new curriculum, graphic illustration depicting cyber security awareness, or the awesome music that tells the tales of our penguins and the actions they take to become cyber safe.
