PopCykol is about Protecting Our Precious, Curious Kids Online!

Teressa is the Dark Shiny Unicorn, a cyber security blogger and consultant. She has worked in cyber security since 2014 as a technical writer, project manager, customer experience consultant, security awareness and threat intelligence analyst.

She illustrates the importance and influence of human behaviour on technology and cyber security. She has a Master of Arts in Anthropology and International Development. She also studied Computer Networking Technology with a concentration in network security.

Teressa brings her award-winning children’s music of Teressa G & The Monkeys to PopCykol to bring fun, light-hearted, content to inform kids and their caregivers about cyber security awareness and safety online.

Why PopCykol now? Parents are overwhelmed with trying to keep their kids safe online, but they don’t need the same old tips. Adults need engaging content to share with their kids. They also need actionable measures that yield results!
